Shipping Information

TrailVault ships directly from our manufacturer and authorized distributor partners (dropship). Orders leave the warehouse fast, and tracking is sent to you by email as soon as it's generated.

Shipping Rates

  • Free shipping on orders $50 and over to the contiguous United States.
  • Flat $9.95 shipping on orders under $50.
  • Rates apply to standard ground shipping on items under ~60 lbs. Oversized or heavy items (large battery banks, large coolers 55L+) may require freight shipping — we'll contact you with a quote before processing any order that falls outside standard ground.

Where We Ship

We ship to the 48 contiguous United States. We don't currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations. If you're outside the contiguous U.S. and want to order, email joel@trailvault.co and we'll see what's possible on a case-by-case basis.

Order Processing Time

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Items in stock with our distributor partners often ship the same day when ordered before 4pm EST on a business day. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

Transit Time

Standard ground shipping typically takes 2-8 business days depending on your location and which warehouse ships your order. Orders may ship from New Jersey, Florida, California, or manufacturer-direct facilities depending on the product.

Multiple Items in One Order

If your order contains items from different manufacturers, they may arrive in separate shipments with different tracking numbers. You'll still only pay shipping once — our $50 free-shipping threshold and $9.95 flat rate apply to the order total, not per item.

Out-of-Stock Items

If an item goes out of stock at the warehouse between when you order and when we go to fulfill it, we'll email you within 1 business day with an expected restock date or an offer to cancel and refund. We don't charge your card until the order ships on most products.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your package arrives damaged, please take photos of the box and contents before unpacking further and email joel@trailvault.co within 48 hours of delivery. We'll file the claim with the carrier on your behalf and get you a replacement or refund.

If tracking shows a package as delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbors and your local carrier first, then contact us within 7 days so we can open a trace investigation.
